Additionally, bone ash finds applications in aluminum smelting and casting, as well as in porcelain and brick manufacturing. Bone charcoal serves as optimal filtering material, is employed in metal hardening, and is used in fertilizer production. Among our oleochemical specialties are lecithin, an emulsifier in food and technical applications, cashew nutshell liquid, furfural, methyloleat, along with a selection of fatty acids, residues, and pitches.

Natural lipids
Deer Tallow
Deer Tallow (Latin: Adeps cervidae, INCI: DEER FAT, CAS 61789-97-7) is a traditional household remedy for treating sore feet, callouses and rough skin. It increases the smoothness of the dermis, the thick layer of living tissue below the epidermis, and protects it from irritation. It is also used in pet paw ointments.
Available in 10 kg cartons and 50 kg drums.
Emu Oil
Emu Oil (Latin: Adeps dromaius novaehollandiae, INCI: DROMICEIUS OIL, CAS 158570-96-8) is a traditional, natural Aboriginal source of food and medicine used to treat skin ailments and reduce inflammation. It features various valuable unsaturated fatty acids, such as oleic acid (an omega-9 fatty acid), and linoleic acid (an omega-6 fatty acid).
Available in 30 kg drums (approximately).
Marmot Oil
Marmot Oil (Latin: Adeps marmottae, INCI: MARMOTA OIL, CAS 225234-13-9) is a traditional household remedy used in the Alps for treating skin irritations and rheumatic symptoms. Our Marmot Oil is solely derived from the fat of wild marmots (marmota bobak) from Kazakhstan, in accordance with IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.

Neatsfoot Oil
Neatsfoot Oil (CAS 8002-64-0) is a winterised mixture of animal oils, rendered and filtered from feet and shin bones. No mineral oils are added. Our Neatsfoot Oil is a light, yellowish oil. It is stable and retains its lubricating properties at a very low temperature, compared to body fat. For a plant-based alternative please check below our Ester Oil (see Oleochemical Specialties).

Bone products
With decades of relationship-building and cooperation with our long-standing bone ash manufacturer, we are able to offer a consistent and reliable supply of this versatile product, used in small quantities as a release agent in casting channels; it has high adherence and can be used with liquid metals for:
- aluminum smelting
- aluminum casting
- porcelain and brick manufacturing
Bone Ash
Bone Ash ST 130 consists mainly of a special kind of tricalcium phosphate, which is obtained from calcined animal bone that has been degreased and degelatinised. The calcination process of the bones takes place at minimum temperatures of 1000°C for at least 30 minutes. By special milling and sieving procedure, a powder is obtained.
Available in 25 kg bags and in quantities from 750 kg to 20 mt.
Bone Charcoal
Bone Charcoal largely comprises calcium phosphate and carbon and is obtained from animal bones. The carbonisation of the bones take place in kilns at temperatures up to 1000°C. Depending on the application, the charred bones are processed into a powdery or granulated product.
Bone Charcoal has many industrial uses, including:
- automotive brake linings
- a colour pigment in the production of paint and varnishes
- a filter material in water treatment
- metal hardening
- fertiliser

Furfural
The word ‘furfural’ is derived from the Latin term for bran (furfur), referring to its common source. It is an organic compound and a natural component of many plants – obtained by heating the fibre source (sugar cane bagasse or bran, for example) with sulfuric acid. It has many commercial uses, including in industrial manufacturing, food flavouring, personal care products, and pesticides.
Furfural (CAS 98-01-1) is an oily, light yellowish to dark brownish liquid, and usually has an almond odour.
Available in 250 kg drums or 1,000 kg IBCs.

Naphthenic Acids (CAS 1338-24-5) are complexes of carboxylic acid, obtained from different distillation fractions of crude oil, such as gasoline, kerosene or light lubricating oils. We offer several grades of crude and distilled Naphthenic Acid, with the main characteristics being the different acid values.
